PowerWoman International believes that through economically and socially advancing the widow, her children will go to school and remain in school.

We believe that through education and exposure, these educated children of the ostracized widow, will be the ones who will come back into their mother land, into their communities and become the change agents. They will be the ones to say no to the cultures and traditions that dehumanize their mothers, their daughters and their sisters or themselves.
